  • Poppy

The Yupik are an indigenous people who traditionally reside on the island of St. Lawrence in Siberia and the Diomede islands in the Bering Strait as well as in Alaska. Winds, currents, icebergs, fog, storms and tides form their reality. An enduring connection to the sea informs this people’s daily life, culture and language with meaning.
The Yupik Cup is dedicated to this people.
